    Lightbulb

I was looking around the Girl Scout website and saw a couple new badges for the local scouts here. I remembered all the badges I worked hard to earn and it was fun. So that got me thinking... What kind of scout badges would an 18" doll earn?

    Personal Health & Beauty Badge
    Requirements:
Never spend time upside down. It's really hard on the hair and joints. Practice moving arms and legs and standing for long periods of time without moving.
Learn to sit modestly while wearing dresses of various lengths.
Get a Downy Dunk once a year.
Learn all about the different kinds of vinyl cleaner. Practice cleaning a spot on the arms or legs with baking soda.
Figure which fashions are best for you according to your skin and hair color.

    Homemaking Badge
    Requirements:
Learn how to neatly fold clothes and put them in ziploc bags in the closet.
Never leave packing material lying around the house after shopping for clothing. Earn bonus points and a special pin for recycling packing peanuts and cardboard.
Learn the difference between cotton, wool and synthetics. Handwash garments and line dry.
Figure out a way to store at least 10 pairs of shoes in the smallest area possible.
Make a hanging rod in a closet and hang up dresses.

    World Traveler Badge
    Requirements:
Make a notebook about different states and countries around the world you would like to visit.
    Create a sturdy traveling box.
Study various methods of travel via United States Postal Service, UPS and Fed Ex.

    Here's another one:

    Let's Be Friends Badge
    _____________________________

As an American girl doll, you will be making friends with the doll's your "mom" already has, who are all from different time periods. Therefore you must learn about all eight time periods so that you will be prepared to make friends with dolls from various time periods.
You must learn some Nez Perce words so you can talk to Kaya, you need to know the correct way to send an invitation to Felicity, learn some proper Victorian manners so Samantha's Grandmary will let you play with her, study the Depression so you can be understanding to what Kit's going through, etc.
